The project area is located approximately three km Southeast of Nkandla Central Business District. The three-month project involved the construction and installation of a steel structure and roof for a cosmetic factory hall. Construction work included brickwork for 230mm foundation walls, 115mm walls, M140 walls, and 150x15mm segmental concrete cement sills.

The six-month project involved the construction of Fuyeni Creche Hall, located in Ward 12 of the uMfolozi Municipality. The scope of works included:

• Set out the hall and toilet facilities
• Remove and replace damaged tar driveway surface using industrial tar
• Remove old fence and clear all debris on the site

This eight-month long project entailed the construction of 5.3 km of access gravel road in Ward 4 in Chibini. The scope of works included:

• Six-metre-wide gravel riding surface
• Storm water drainage
• 6-metre-wide concrete side-drains (where necessary)

The 8-month long project was undertaken in two phases, phase 1 and 2. The Mtuba Sports Complex stadium was constructed, supported by reinforced concrete columns on a 7.5×7.5m grid with dead and live loads of 1350KN and 350KN respectively.

The three-year project saw M & C Consulting Engineers work in the capacity of sub-consultant assessing Real Losses associated with customer plumbing systems, as well as undertaking all remedial plumbing retrofit works to ensure that minimisation of losses in Mthonjaneni to Thubalethu, Mthonjaneni to KwaMagwaza, Nkandla and Gingindlovu.
